Best in Dough competitions, pizza-making challenges, and more
Each episode of Finest in Dough will have three contestants with similar backgrounds, careers, or ages trying to bake the best pizzas in order to win $10,000 and the title of Best in Dough. Adam Wells, the presenter, will put the participants through two fierce challenge rounds. The tasks, as shown in the teaser, may range from using no dough to producing pizza or pizza cupcakes. Each task will push participants to produce mind-blowing pizza mash-ups with a range of tastes.
The first three episodes of Best in Dough, which will premiere on September 19, will put Nonnas (Italian grandmothers), social media influencers, and pitmasters against one another. The next three episodes will showcase fierce pizza-making battles between local pizza pop-ups in the United States, world champion pizza chefs, and college students.
Three mother-daughter teams, three chefs from Mexico, Japan, and Brazil, three chefs from the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit), and three fine dining chefs will compete to produce the finest pizza in the show’s final four episodes.
