My Adventures with Superman fan art brings Batman to the animated series’ world, which still has to happen in the new Superman show’s DC Universe. My Adventures with Superman season 1 recently concluded, presenting fans with a new take on Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and more famous DC characters. While the show had only one hero, Superman, My Adventures with Superman season 1’s ending set up major threats that could lead to Clark getting some help.

On Instagram, artist @jscomicart shared their take on what Batman could look like in the My Adventures with Superman animated style.

The fan art gives Batman his long ears from the character’s DC Comics debut in 1939. Batman looks extremely well-suited for the series next to Jack Quaid’s Superman. The stunning fan art will make the fans who put Batman appearing in the series as part of their My Adventures with Superman season 2 predictions happy, though reality might play out differently.

Could Batman Appear In My Adventures With Superman?

My Adventures with Superman season 1 ended by teasing two mysterious villains for the show’s second season. While the show didn’t reveal who the two villains presented in season 1’s finale were, one of the masked characters — a Kryptonian — said, “Kneel,” making it all but certain that the character is General Zod, as the villain is known to say “Kneel before Zod.” The other villain teased by the finale was none other than Brainiac, who should be behind all the robots that appeared in the show’s first season.

Clark could definitely use the help of other superheroes to take on Brainiac and Zod in My Adventures with Superman season 2; however, that won’t be happening. My Adventures with Superman will avoid a past DC crossover mistake, as the series will not rush into having Superman interact with other heroes like Batman. According to My Adventures with Superman producer Josephine Campbell, Batman and other heroes shouldn’t be coming to the series down the line.

While the producer thinks mentions of Gotham City are okay, My Adventures with Superman is ultimately a Superman series. “For us, the whole point of this is, it’s about Superman. It’s about Lois, and Jimmy, and the focus is always going to be on them,” says Campbell. Based on the producer’s words, the Batman fan art will be the closest that DC fans will get to see the Caped Crusader in My Adventures with Superman.
